BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Floridant -- Curran Young Construction began work on a new amenity center and facilities at Turnleaf in Punta Gorda, adding recreational and gathering spaces as the residential community continues to take shape along the Burnt Store Road corridor. GreenPointe Holdings is the community developer for Turnleaf.
Located at 13250 Burnt Store Rd., the 7,280-square-foot project includes five structures that together create an amenity campus for residents.
"Shared spaces play an important role in turning a collection of homes into a connected community," said Chris Curran, chief executive officer of Curran Young. "What stands out about Turnleaf is the decision to create several purpose-built spaces rather than place every amenity under one roof. It gives residents different places to cross paths, spend time outdoors and connect with their neighbors as the community grows."
The project combines concrete and block construction with wood and steel structural components. Exteriors will feature stone veneer, stucco and fiber cement siding, along with flat concrete tile and standing seam metal roofing.
Exposed heavy timber decorative trusses add a distinctive architectural element across the project. The five-building layout also introduces distinct construction considerations across structural systems, materials and uses.

The new facilities will expand the amenities available to Turnleaf homeowners as residential construction continues throughout the community.
Turnleaf is a 426-acre mixed-use master-planned community with 1,735 homesites, being developed by GreenPointe Holdings. Set within a Community Development District, it offers a distinctive Southwest Florida setting with interconnected trails, thoughtfully planned amenities and easy access to the Gulf Coast.
Curran Young is partnering with GreenPointe Holding, which leads the overall development of the community, and South Florida Architecture, which led the design on the project.
