ORLANDO, Fla. - Floridant -- ORLANDO, Fla. — Shantlee Campbell South, a front desk and guest services professional at Caribe Royale Orlando, has published her first book, Rooted in Faith, Growing in Confidence — her story, her crown, and the business God is building in her, one wash day, one prayer, one honest step at a time. The book was released on Amazon on November 1, 2026, in paperback and Kindle editions, and is free to read with Kindle Unlimited.

Part memoir, part encouragement for women caring for coily hair, the book traces South's journey from Jamaica to Orlando, through years of hospitality work, and into the small laboratory corner where she now studies cosmetic formulation and builds Faith & Follicles Luxe, her hair-care brand currently in development. Its closing chapter, "Faith in the Waiting Seasons," has become the book's most-shared message: you do not have to be finished to be faithful.

About the Author: Shantlee Campbell South is the Founder and Cosmetic Formulator of Faith & Follicles Luxe. Born in Jamaica, she studied Business at Marcus Garvey Technical High School and built her career in hospitality and guest services in Florida, including front desk leadership roles.
