FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach proudly announces the promotion of Yenier Marrero to general manager. Marrero joined the Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach team in 2023 and supported the Resort's opening as director of guest experience.
Marrero brings an impressive 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role. He quickly exceeded expectations, generating strategies that surpassed expected revenues, guest satisfaction, team morale and owner relations.
Originally from Cuba, Marrero has called Southwest Florida home for the past six years. In 2018, he moved to Naples to join the Naples Grande Resort as spa director and was promoted to director of rooms in 2020. Three years later, he joined the team at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach.

Before moving to Southwest Florida, Marrero worked for Fisher Island Club, in Miami-Dade County, where he acquired his massage license and personal trainer certification, along with his real estate and notary licenses.
"Marrero's achievements throughout his career, and his successes since joining the Margaritaville Beach Resort's team, made him the perfect candidate for general manager," said Tom Torgerson, co-owner TPI Hospitality which owns and operates Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach.
Outside of work, he enjoys the island lifestyle, and all that Fort Myers Beach has to offer including bike rides, swimming and spending quality time with friends and family.
