TAMPA, Fla. - Floridant -- Brooker, a feature length film shot in the Tampa Bay area, is holding its premiere on August 16th. The showing will take place at Centro Asturiano de Tampa in Ybor City, a site rich in Florida history. Doors to the red carpet premiere will open at 5:45pm, with the film scheduled to begin at 6:45pm.
Guests that purchase a ticket can walk the red carpet, meet the actors in the film, and will be guaranteed a seat in the exclusive screening.
The film stars Faniel Pradel as Marshal Brooker, a relic hunter for hire. On his latest job, he discovers an ancient mask that seems to possess supernatural powers. Instead of turning it over to his employers, he attempts to hold it hostage until the price is raised. Unfortunately for him, the man paying for his treks into the jungle is Roman Stalnik, a heartless collector of relics, and a man who already knows their power. Now, Brooker must find a way to protect his family and get out alive, before the occult cabal funding Roman gets their hands on the relic.
