Jean-Francois Vezina has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will lead the next stage of Wilson's growth and innovation.
TAMPA, Fla. - Floridant -- Wilson today announced a planned leadership transition as founder and Chief Executive Officer John Wilson steps into a Board role after nearly 24 years leading the company. Jean-Francois Vezina (JF) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will lead the next chapter of Wilson's growth and innovation.
"It was important to me that the company be entrusted to a leader who understands both where our industry is headed and what has made Wilson successful. JF brings exceptional expertise, a strong track record of growth and transformation, and a deep commitment to people. I have full confidence in his ability to lead Wilson forward." — John Wilson (https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnwilson1/), Founder
More on The Floridant
Vezina joins Wilson with more than two decades of experience in talent solutions, workforce strategy, and business transformation. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing teams, driven significant business growth, and helped organizations navigate change while maintaining a strong focus on people, culture, and client success.
The world of work is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in decades. According to the World Economic Forum, nearly 40% of core workforce skills are expected to change by 2030, while 63% of employers identify skills gaps as the biggest barrier to business transformation. At the same time, approximately three-quarters of employers report difficulty finding the skilled talent they need.
These forces are being accelerated by advances in AI, automation, and rapidly evolving workforce expectations. Organizations are entering an era where success will depend not only on their ability to attract talent, but on how quickly they can identify skills, develop capabilities, and redeploy people to meet changing business needs.

Wilson is built for this moment. With deep expertise in talent solutions, workforce intelligence, and technology-enabled delivery, the company helps organizations build more agile, skills-based, and future-ready workforces. Under Vezina's leadership, Wilson will continue to invest in AI-enabled solutions, technology, and human expertise to help clients unlock the full potential of their people.
"The next era of competitive advantage will not be defined by access to technology alone," said Vezina. "It will be defined by an organization's ability to continuously attract, develop, and redeploy talent faster than the pace of change." — Jean-Francois Vezina (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeanfrancoisvezina/), Chief Executive Officer
