Volusia Flagler Family YMCA hires new Membership and Fitness Director

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA is pleased to announce Martin Vollebregt has been hired to serve at its Ormond Beach branch as the Membership and Fitness Director. Vollebregt has 25 years of experience volunteering and working for the YMCA. He has more than 30 years of working in the fitness field.

"I was drawn back to the Y and enjoy training people and working for a non-profit," Vollebregt said. "I enjoy working in the community and developing partnerships that will enable the Y to be able to provide health and fitness opportunities for all," he added.

Vollebregt's duties will include overseeing membership and retention, fitness activities and programs, internal communications, maintenance and customer service.

"I am excited to serve in this role as we focus on the future – bringing in new equipment, improving our personal training programs and building on our membership base," he said. "There is a whole new energy at this Y, and we are looking forward to helping people reach their health and fitness goals," he added.

Amenities at the Ormond Beach YMCA include: state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, group exercise studios, cycle studio, heated outdoor pool (open year round), indoor basketball gymnasium, personal training and massage services, splash pad, after school care and much more.
