New OddsMatched.com analysis tracks the value of sign-up bonuses across major US sportsbooks
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- A new analysis from OddsMatched.com, a matched betting platform serving members across the U.S., finds that the combined value of welcome bonuses from major U.S. sportsbooks currently exceeds $11,450, based on offer terms published on each sportsbook's official promotions page as of August 19, 2026.
The report comes as sportsbooks continue to compete aggressively for new users heading into the NFL and college football season, with operators including DraftKings, BetMGM, bet365, FanDuel, Fanatics, and Caesars all currently running active sign-up promotions in the form of bonus bets, and deposit matches.
While these offers are designed to attract new bettors, a growing number of consumers are using a strategy called matched betting to extract the promotional value from these offers without taking on the risk typically associated with sports betting. The approach involves placing a qualifying bet with a bookmaker, then placing an offsetting "lay" bet on a betting exchange, ensuring a similar outcome regardless of the result - with the bonus itself becoming the profit.
