LABELLE, Fla. - Floridant -- United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades hosted an exciting "Swing into Spring" event and achieved fantastic success for its Hendry and Glades agencies, raising $22,650 at the recent fundraiser, which sold out for the first time in its history.
The annual "Swing into Spring" event took place April 20 at the RiverBend Motorcoach Resort in LaBelle. One hundred sixty guests and 20 volunteers enjoyed a delightful evening with dinner, music from the talented LaBelle High School musicians, and spirited live and silent auctions.
