Stuart, Florida pressure washing company restores aging pavers while taking extra precautions around bleach-sensitive plants
STUART, Fla. - Floridant -- Titan Pressure Washing is showing Treasure Coast homeowners why professional exterior cleaning requires more than simply applying chemicals and high pressure.
In a recent project, the veteran and family-owned company restored a previously sealed paver driveway while taking extensive precautions to protect the homeowner's surrounding landscaping, including several plants particularly sensitive to bleach and even chemical fumes.
The approximately five-year-old driveway showed multiple signs of deterioration from a previous sealing job. Sealer had worn away unevenly across the surface, organic debris had accumulated between the pavers, and play sand had been compacted into sections near the home.

Titan began the restoration process with a soft-wash treatment before cleaning the pavers with a surface cleaner operating at approximately 2,000 PSI. The lower pressure allowed the team to remove buildup while minimizing unnecessary stress on the pavers and remaining sealer.
Preparing the surface was only part of the job.
Before, during and after cleaning, Titan thoroughly watered surrounding hedges, grass and plant beds. The crew also applied approximately eight gallons of Miracle-Gro solution as an additional measure to help protect the landscaping.
Some plants on the property were especially vulnerable to bleach exposure. Titan developed a method for redirecting cleaning solution and fumes away from those areas while still effectively treating the driveway.
"We care just as much and love your plants as much as you do," the company explains in the project video.
The detailed preparation reflects what Titan calls The Titan Difference: We call back. We show up. We do it right.
