Tampa Bay Rowdies teams with USYS TOPSoccer and Florida Youth Soccer Association for a Community Event
TAMPA, Fla. - Floridant -- Part of the Florida Youth Soccer Association's vision is to develop soccer opportunities for all. No program encapsulates this more than TOPSoccer. We are excited to hold the third annual Florida TOPSoccer Festival (Festival) with the Tampa Bay Rowdies this Saturday, December 2nd!
TOPSoccer (TOPS) is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities that is offered only through local USYS-affiliated soccer clubs.
The Festival is a community event to expand the public's knowledge of TOPS programs around the state and encourage interested athletes to participate in this fun and inclusive event. This event offers a supportive and inclusive environment with numerous games and activity stations throughout the event to fit the varying needs of each athlete. Each athlete is assigned a volunteer Buddy. This Buddy works with their athlete and makes sure they are safe, engaged, supported, and having fun.
