In honor of National Recovery Month in September, the upcoming August/September issue of The Well of PBC will delve into topics like the intersection of the addiction crisis and the housing crisis in Palm Beach County featuring expert opinions from The Lord's Place, a non-profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness, alongside a powerful piece by Willie Cooks.
A re-entry advocate, a reformer for The Reform Alliance Institute, and an advisory board committee member for The Community Hub of Palm Beach County, Willie shares his insights, drawing from his personal experiences with addiction, incarceration and homelessness to advocate for others facing similar challenges.
