$500 educational grant rewards academic resilience and persistence for students in Gainesville, Tampa, Daytona, and St. Augustine.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- The Tutoring Company, a premier provider of personalized academic support across Florida, is officially accepting applications for the 2026 "Lightbulb Moment" Scholarship. This $500 educational grant is designed to honor Florida high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional resilience and persistence in their academic journeys.
The Lightbulb Moment Scholarship moves beyond traditional metrics like GPA to celebrate "grit"—the determination required to overcome academic obstacles. The initiative seeks to support students who understand that true success is found in the persistence it takes to keep trying until a difficult concept finally "clicks."
"At The Tutoring Company, we believe the most successful students aren't necessarily those who find academics easy, but those who refuse to give up when things get hard," said Zachary Seymour, Founder of The Tutoring Company. "We are proud to continue this tradition in 2026, helping a Florida senior transition to their next chapter of higher education."
