FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- The School District of Lee County will host Social Lee: Coffee & Careers on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. in Cape Coral to provide insight on career opportunities within the District.
The informational event will be held at Panera Bread, 1000 Cape Coral Parkway E. in Cape Coral. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with the District's talent acquisition team and learn more about open positions for the current academic year. Attendees will also be guided through the process of becoming certified to teach in Florida.
The School District of Lee County is among the largest school districts in Florida and the United States with a growing enrollment of more than 100,000 students and 119 schools.
New hires receive support and necessary resources to help them succeed upon entering the field of education. The District offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation plan, along with additional benefits and earning opportunities, including advanced degree supplements, summer school, athletic coaching and more. Eligible employees will be guided through a personal benefits selection process upon hire.
