JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- The Pineapple Corporation, the leading luxury design-build firm in Northeast Florida, proudly announces Sammie Janica, Director of Design, recently passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) examination and received her NCIDQ certification. The NCIDQ certification is recognized as the highest standard and benchmark of proficiency in interior design principles and a designer's commitment to the profession.
"We are proud of Sammie for taking the necessary steps to receive the coveted NCIDQ designation," said Spencer Calvert, president of The Pineapple Corporation. "With her recent professional achievement and interior design expertise, our clients can trust they are in qualified hands when we take them through the experience of selecting materials and finishes for their home."

NCIDQ certificate holders have proven their expertise in understanding and applying current codes established to protect public health, safety and welfare. The NCIDQ Examination is a rigorous, three-part examination covering seven areas that capture the core competencies of interior design: building systems, codes, construction standards, contract administration, design application, professional practice and project coordination.
Janica joined The Pineapple Corporation as an interior designer in 2016. Her prior experience includes working in residential and commercial interior design settings.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Jacksonville.
"I am proud to have earned the NCIDQ certification as it demonstrates my commitment and dedication to the interior design profession," Janica said. "I am passionate about working with clients to create aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, functional and innovative spaces for their homes."
