THE VILLAGES, Fla. - Floridant -- The Pet Professional Guild (PPG) has officially announced the launch of Business Growth Awareness Week, taking place from June 15–21, 2026. This global initiative is designed to equip Pet Behavior and Care professionals with the essential business strategies, tools, and professional development to build sustainable, ethical practices.
While the pet industry is primarily driven by a commitment to animal welfare and well-being, PPG recognizes that long-term advocacy for force-free, science-based methods requires a foundation of business stability. Business Growth Awareness Week aims to empower "Compassionate Professionals" to professionalize their operations, ensuring their mission-driven work remains viable in an increasingly competitive market.
Bridging the Gap Between Training and Business
The event features a rigorous curriculum focused on the "business side" of the industry, including pricing for profit, building effective marketing campaigns, and leveraging public relations activities to strengthen brand awareness.

And we've got a little something fun hidden up our sleeves for it, too..."
