Operazzi Bash, envisioned by Dr. Francelis "Dr. G" Gonzalez, becomes the centerpiece of a new philanthropic tradition blending glamour, culture, and community impact.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Floridant -- Opera Orlando's Aria Circle committee advances its mission to bring to life Operazzi Bash, an annual event designed to merge pop and opera in a visionary "popera" experience. Initiated by Dr. Francelis "Dr. G" Gonzalez (Chair of the event), with Juliana No hired to lead event planning and marketing, the Aria Circle has also, this past month, undertaken two special behind‑the‑scenes visits to deepen its connection to Opera Orlando's artistic and operational heart.
By touring the backstage at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Opera Orlando's youth training facility, the Opera's offices, and costume design workshops, the Aria Circle has seen firsthand the ecosystem that sustains Opera Orlando's artistic excellence. These visits reinforce the committee's commitment not just to a one‑night spectacle, but to the ongoing cultivation of talent, design, production, and community engagement that Operazzi Bash will support.

The guided tour of the backstage areas at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, was led by Grammy‑winner, CEO and General Director of Opera Orlando, Gabriel Preisser. This visit offered insight into the technical, staging, and production resources.
Later on, the Aria Circle visited Opera Orlando's new administrative offices, as well as the dedicated location where the Youth Company will train. They also toured the workshop where costumes for the upcoming production La Bohème are being designed. Seeing these spaces has provided the committee with a tangible sense of the effort, artistry, and heart that go into every production.

The inaugural Operazzi Bash will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando.
Operazzi Bash is built around the concept of popera, a blend of opera's classical form and pop's broad appeal. Guests can expect an immersive evening of a masquerade-style gala, cocktails, dinner, and performances that merge operatic arias with pop music in surprising, elegant harmonies.
"Operazzi is not just an event, it's a statement," said Dr. G. "It's about innovation, inclusion, and igniting a love for the arts in everyone. With the Aria Circle by my side, we're laying the foundation for something truly special."
