Tampa: Temporary Lane Closures on Knights Run Avenue began February 24, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of Knights Run Avenue between S Harbour Island Boulevard and S Beneficial Drive closed beginning on Monday, February 24, 2020 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing two (2) small wireless facilities on the south side of Knights Run Avenue between S Harbour Island Boulevard and S Beneficial Drive.

One (1) eastbound lane on Knights Run Avenue between S Harbour Island Boulevard and Harbour Post Drive closed at 9 am on February 24, 2020.

One (1) eastbound lane of traffic will be maintained on Knights Run Avenue between S Harbour Island Boulevard and Harbour Post Drive at all times during construction, with traffic delays.

During construction, the sidewalks within the construction area will be closed.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on Knights Run Avenue between S Harbour Island Boulevard and Harbour Post Drive will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
