Tampa: Names of Members Announced for the First Mayor’s Neighborhood University 2.0 Class

Mayor's Neighborhood University is back with a revamped program under Mayor Jane Castor's administration. The first MNU 2.0 class will feature 28 citizens who will learn how to become neighborhood leaders and get a crash course on city government.

MNU participants will meet on Tuesday evenings for 12 sessions. They will receive a behind-the-scenes look at city government and hear from officials in various departments throughout the city. This will give them key insights into how different departments operate and how they affect their neighborhoods.

Each class member will learn valuable leadership skills and receive key resources that they can take back into their neighborhoods. In this way, they will serve as ambassadors for our city, spreading awareness for various city services and programs.
