MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- Sustainability in Miami Beach is important to many people now and will continue to grow much stronger in the months and years ahead. Covid -19 was such a devastating experience killing so many worldwide and forcing us to change many of our habits and ideas.
With the second wave of the pandemic hopefully coming to an end, there will be pent-up demand in the travel area. Not being able to travel in the past 2 years, many people want to get back to experiences they were denied.
And this new normal will focus on the quality of life issues. For consumers and businesses to do their part in making the air and water cleaner so that we can eat and breathe a healthier lifestyle. Personal change is hard to do, but Covid-19 gave us all more time at home, to contemplate how the world has changed and our thinking about it as well.
Before Covid struck Sustainable Miami Beach Foodie Tours was not thinking or concerned about the environment, their focus was strictly on providing the best-tasting foods in the best neighborhood steps away from its postcard-perfect beach.
With the tour company in shut-down mode, their thinking of offering new and different tours started to shape a new beginning. Realizing how precious life can be when you're healthy and how you want to save the Earth's resources for our grandchildren's grandchildren.

The tours were redesigned around serving the best-tasting foods a sustainable lifestyle experience. The tours are now plastic-free. The vendors repackaged their foods in paper, not Styrofoam, and no plastic bags for carrying the food, the tour guide carries the foods in a cloth backpack.
And no plastic utensils, the cutlery is edible, Vegan, Non-GMO, made from wheat flour, olive oil, and salt with no additives. Instead of licking your spoon at the Italian gelato shop, one of the tours spots, you can now eat the spoon instead!
