LAUDERHILL, Fla. - Floridant -- Why does Healthy Mother's Healthy Babies (HMHB) exist and why does that matter today more than ever? The organization puts mothers, babies, and families first by providing health education, bereavement counseling, and life skills programs in high risk neighborhoods and zip codes with a commitment that fosters bridging businesses with community.
Since 1987 HMHB of Broward County has supported 2500 families annually with instructive programs which help reduce infant mortality for low-income families. Additionally, these programs have and continue to improve birth outcomes by addressing poor maternal health.
HMHB – Broward will honor eleven outstanding Mothers of the Year, one Outstanding Father of the Year, and two Guardian Angels at the staging of its 32nd Mother's Day Luncheon. These honorees are being highlighted for their outstanding dedication and support of the work and successful program outcomes by the Non-Profit organization. You can support their efforts with silent and live auction donations, attending the event, and making direct donations.
