Event raises money for pediatric health care through Children's Miracle Network
NAPLES, Fla. - Floridant -- Sunshine Ace Hardware stores throughout the region are participating in this year's Miracle Bucket Sale, an annual event that raises money for pediatric health care through Children's Miracle Network.
Between Aug. 2-4, customers who donate $5 will receive a specially marked five-gallon bucket that they can use as a shopping basket, earning a 20% discount on nearly everything they can fit inside. In 2023, the three-day event raised $6,289 to help cover the costs of patient services for children and families, charitable care for patients lacking sufficient funds or insurance, and education programs for patients, families and the community. Donations also allow hospitals to purchase life-saving equipment and provide advancement services for innovative programs and projects.
"Children's Miracle Network is such a great organization that impacts thousands of children right here in our own community," said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. "Think about all the stuff you need around the house – a tape measure, a hammer, cleaning supplies. You'll get a 20% discount and make a difference in the lives of sick and injured children in the area."
