Sunshine Ace Hardware hosts Grand Opening Celebration at Pelican Bay store in Naples

NAPLES, Fla. - Floridant -- Sunshine Ace Hardware at Pelican Bay Marketplace in Naples hosted a two-day Grand Opening Celebration on Jan. 24-25 that featured grilling parties, giveaways, live music and discounts.

Festivities kicked off with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting in partnership with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Wynn family, which has owned and operated Sunshine Ace Hardware stores since 1958. Sunshine Ace Hardware has been a Naples Chamber member for nearly 51 years and is an Investor-Level member. The company's president, Michael Wynn, serves on the chamber's Board of Directors and is a past chamber president.

Sunshine Ace Hardware is co-anchoring Pelican Bay Marketplace with Publix. It is the fourth Sunshine Ace Hardware to open in Collier County in the past three years and the 16^th hardware store owned by the Wynn family.

Giveaway items at the Grand Opening Celebration included a Generac GP Series 6500-Watt 240-Volt Gasoline Portable Generator, YETI Roadie 60 Rescue Red Cooler, Milwaukee Cooler and Shibumi Full-size Original Beach Shade. Grilling parties included complimentary hot samples cooked on Weber, Big Green Egg and Napoleon grills. Music was provided by Hashtag Sharps, DJ Billy Lydon, Kelly Clinger and Mason Williams.

Additionally, customers who donated $5 to Children's Miracle Network during the Grand Opening Celebration received a 20% discount on nearly all items that could fit inside a specially marked bucket. Their collective efforts raised $1,960 to support pediatric care at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.
