Stevens Construction hires Evan Lopes as estimating engineer

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Stevens Construction, Inc. has expanded its Fort Myers team with the addition of estimating engineer, Evan Lopes, announced Daniel F. Adams Jr., executive vice president and partner.

As estimating engineer, Lopes is responsible for supporting the preconstruction team in cost estimate preparation, including cost analysis and project scope development.  Lopes also maintains historical cost data which assists in potential project price estimates.

Bringing more than seven years of experience, Lopes most recently served as an estimator and designer for a local marine construction firm. He also has a background in operations, sales and customer service.

Lopes earned his bachelor's degree in business management and entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University, where he was also a founding member of the university's chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.
