"I would like to honor him for all his hard work. I've seen J-Rob work with numbers and build it to something just from having the information. Him doing his party release was like gold in his hands because to not have nothing and then to have something to me that means a lot," said Rick Robinson, Owner of iMG Recordings.
"God's Got Me" by J-Rob release party was in celebration of his father's passing. This was a special and very touching event in honor of his father who believed in him and supported his music career. His live performances at his release party were heartfelt, not only to him, but the audience, as well as captivating to those who watched the live videos online. J-Rob performed three debut songs from his forthcoming album, "Blessed," "It's Gonna Be Okay," "Step Back, and "God's Got Me."
