MIAMI - Floridant -- Shot Bot®, a new decision based firearms training system, will officially debut at SHOT Show 2026 at the Mounting Solutions Plus booth 20300 in the Law Enforcement section. Shot Bot is designed to move training beyond predictable static targets and into realistic, high stress decision making that mirrors real world encounters.

Unlike traditional paper or fixed steel targets, Shot Bot is a portable randomized target system that introduces unpredictable movement, variable timing, and mid scenario behavior changes. Targets can shift from non threat to threat, advance toward the shooter, or introduce hostages and friendly forces. The result is training that demands judgment, not memorization.

"Static targets are dead. Decision making is alive." That principle drives the entire Shot Bot platform. Real incidents do not follow scripts. Shot Bot exposes hesitation, poor judgment, and decision fatigue during training rather than in the field.

Built for Real World Training

Shot Bot supports a wide range of law enforcement and tactical training applications, including:
Active shooter response
School and campus safety
Patrol and SRO training
SWAT scenarios
Threat versus non threat discrimination

Low light and transitional environments

The system allows instructors to run dynamic drills such as shoot house scenarios, close contact reaction drills, and partner based cover and communication exercises. Shot Bot can be deployed on flat ranges, in shoot houses, or temporary training locations without permanent infrastructure.

A Purpose Built Stress Engine

Shot Bot is constructed from 14 gauge steel and is bullet resistant up to 9mm. Each unit measures 12 by 12 inches, weighs approximately 36 to 40 pounds, and operates wirelessly using rechargeable power. Programmable movement logic allows instructors to control complexity, timing, and distractions in real time.

By removing predictable timing and static presentations, Shot Bot builds faster reactions, clearer communication, smarter use of cover, and disciplined trigger control. These are skills that transfer directly to real world encounters.
