Musical genius Rev Melvin Dawson makes a come back with new single to drop on August 15th, 2022

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Floridant -- Yes, from the man that brought you the hit songs, "How Much Do I OWe" (Georgia Mass, 1991), and "Jesus Stepped In On Time" (Genesis Ensemble, Tyscot Records, 1992), has now released his newest Single, "Yet While I Live", with his group Genesis Fellowship Delegation (K'MAJ Records). This single will precede his upcoming Fall Release Project entitled, "Manifest". This song is written from the scriptures in Psalms 63:1-4, when the Psalmist David makes this profound declaration:

"O God, thou art My God; early will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness Is better than life, My lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name."

More on The Floridant
Writing this Psalm, David was in danger of death at the hand of his son, Absalom. We also see David's longing for home – Jerusalem. He feels separated from God and is longing for the Presence of God – my soul thirsts for You (verse 1). But we also find past, present, and future hope of God's presence for David.

Pastor Dawson, believes that this song will minister to many individuals who are going through difficult times and encourage them to keep pressing on... with a praise upon their lips and joy in their hearts, because, no matter what we are facing, our Anthem of Hope should be, "YET WHILE I LIVE I'LL PRAISE HIM".

You will be able to purchase music on all digital outlets. For booking information you can reach Rev. Dawson on the following link, https://www.facebook.com/pastor.m.dawson or you can call  904-860-4064 or email Email Address: GenesisGFD1987@gmail.com
