Evolving from a 15-year legacy of avant-garde production, RDM Records expands into a multidisciplinary center for sound philosophy, media archaeology, and critical literature.
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- RDM Records announces the official relaunch of its editorial wing, the Electroacoustic Research Hub, and an international call for submissions for its technical-scientific periodical, Arts and Technologies.
Founded in Milan in 2011, the project has evolved from a contemporary art news portal into a global center for media archaeology and sound research. This relaunch marks RDM Records' transition into a permanent research-driven institution, bridging independent artistic practice and academic discourse.
"This relaunch is the culmination of 15 years of investigation into the 'Audibility Gap,'" says founder Romina Daniele. "By integrating the legacy of RDM Records with the future of the Hub, we are creating a permanent home for the 'One Reality' of sound and thought."

Mission & Evolution The Hub's relaunch is anchored by the Arts and Technologies manifesto, which investigates the paradigm shift from analog to digital. Current research focuses on the morphological evolution of sound and the tension between analog origins and digital execution in modern spatial arrays.
"We are investigating a technological cultural logic inherent to every art form," Daniele continues, "from the 'technological nightmares' of cinema to the thresholds of audibility in electroacoustic composition."
Call for Submissions: Series 2026 The Hub invites researchers and theorists to contribute:
Featured Research: The Ghost in the Garden To mark the relaunch, the Hub released its latest study, "The Ghost in the Garden: An Electroacoustic Critique of the SoundScape Park." This analysis examines the 167-speaker Meyer Sound array in Miami Beach, documenting the "Audibility Gap" between hardware potential and software execution.
