POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- Deerfield Beach, FL — The youth group at The Pink Church is living out their mission to serve with love by preparing and delivering meals for families supported by Place of Hope, a local organization providing housing and support to children, youth, and families in crisis.
On Thursday evening, the students gathered in the church kitchen, where they cooked, packed, and prayed over more than 50 meals destined for local families in need. The initiative is part of an ongoing youth-led mission campaign that empowers students to choose causes they care about and take real action in their community.
"These kids are learning that faith isn't just something you talk about—it's something you live out with your hands and your heart," said Lien, Youth Volunteer at The Pink Church. "They were so excited to serve families from Place of Hope and put love into every meal."
