THE VILLAGES, Fla. - Floridant -- he Pet Professional Guild (PPG) has announced the winners of its community outreach competition that was part of its first annual advocacy event, Celebrating Life Together, held in August and September 2024. The outreach competition invited pet professionals and pet owners to participate in the mass production of fun, informative education about positive reinforcement training and pet care, and offered the opportunity to win prize packages worth hundreds of dollars. Pet professionals submitted entries in Outdoor Fun With a Pet, Pet Enrichment, Educational Event, Create an Infographic and Write a Blog Post categories, and pet owners submitted entries in Quality Time With Your Pet, Your Enriched Pet and Train a Fun Behavior categories. The entries were put to a public vote for the month of September, and the first-place winners were pet professionals Joanne Burton, Alexandra Tytheridge-Allan, Natasha Attwood, Roman Gottfried, Jen Nesbitt-Hawes and Elizabeth Eckert, and pet owners Anna-Marie Brocchi and Amanda Ferry.
