TAMPA, Fla. - Floridant -- Paula Clair Smith, CCIM, Managing Director of Commercial Services at Colliers, has been selected to serve as the 2022 President of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Florida Chapter's West Coast District.

CCIM is a global professional organization whose designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate. CCIM Florida's West Coast District has approximately 250 members and serves 11 counties, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Sarasota and Manatee.

"The members of the Florida CCIM West Coast District devote time and energy to pursue a professional standard of deal-making and education," said Paula Clair Smith, CCIM, Managing Director, Colliers. Smith earned her CCIM designation in 2006 and joined the CCIM Florida Chapter's West Coast District the same year. Prior to stepping into the role of President, she served as President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer and Communications Chair for the chapter.

Smith began her commercial real estate career in 1998 and joined Colliers in 2016 as Director of Commercial Services. Her experience in office, industrial and redevelopment spans more than 20 years, with clients including Pinellas County, City of Largo, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg Free Clinic and SPCA Tampa Bay.
