Pace Center for Girls, Lee launches 'Every Girl Deserves' Capital Improvement Campaign

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- After 16 years of empowering young women in Lee County, Pace Center for Girls announces the launch of its "Every Girl Deserves" Capital Improvement Campaign, aiming to raise $1 million for vital improvements to its L. Gail Markham Building in Fort Myers. This campaign is designed to strengthen and enhance safety, security and overall wellness for the young women who rely on Pace for education, counseling and support.

The Every Girl Deserves Capital Improvement Campaign will address critical needs identified within the center, including creating a secure visitor entrance, upgrading communication systems and making essential repairs to the building following damage from Hurricane Ian. Other key projects focus on promoting health and wellness, such as replacing HVAC units for improved air quality and making outdoor upgrades to add new recreational space, including a new basketball court and seating for counseling sessions. Additionally, the campaign will expand its Reach therapy program to provide more offices and space, allowing Pace to serve even more girls in the community.

Supporters can choose from a variety of giving levels, including Honor the Wisdom of Time at $100,000, Act with Integrity & Positive Intent at $50,000, Embrace Growth & Change at $25,000, Seek Excellence at $10,000, Create Partnerships for a 3-year pledge of $2,500, Honor the Female Spirit at $5,000, Invest in the Future for a 3-year pledge of $1,000, Focus on Strengths at $1,000 and Exhibit Courage at $500. Each level of giving comes with recognition opportunities, including placement on the "Every Girl Deserves" recognition wall at the center and social media spotlights for larger gifts.

Pace Lee provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. Pace's Reach therapy program offers social, emotional and behavioral health and support services for girls ages 11–17 and their families, providing services in partnering schools, homes and other community locations.

Through Pace Lee, 93% of students improved their academic performance, 100% had no involvement with the juvenile justice system within one year of exiting the program and 95% were either in school or gainfully employed after leaving Pace.
