BOCA RATON, Fla. - Floridant -- St. Gregory's Episcopal Church in Boca Raton announces a holiday concert with acclaimed, world-renown jazz trombonist and band leader Wycliffe Gordon and friends, followed by dinner, dancing, and a live auction. "A New Orleans Jazz Christmas Celebration" is the only concert that Wycliffe Gordon will give in South Florida this year, so get your tickets now. Join the fun on December 6 for a fabulous evening of good food, great music, and one-of-a-kind auction items. Jazz lovers will thrill to the improvisational stylings of Wycliffe Gordon and be mesmerized by the virtuosity of the La Lucha Trio as they riff on holiday standards and share new compositions.
The concert begins at 5:00 PM in St. Gregory's beautiful sanctuary with its superb acoustics. Tickets are $75 for the concert, $75 for the dinner and silent auction, and $135 to attend both the concert and the dinner. Student tickets for the concert only are $25 per person with a current student ID.

St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, the sacred hub of arts, culture and service in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a variety of concerts and music events throughout the late Fall and into the holiday season.
On Sunday, November 30, St. Gregory's will feature a special Advent Choral Evensong led by the choir of St. Gregory's. This meditative and stirring musical version of evening prayer in the Anglican tradition is free and offered to the public as an elegant and meditative service of worship at the start of the busy holiday season.

On Sunday, December 21, the St. Gregory's choir will present the annual Christmas at St. Gregory's concert, which will be in the style of a traditional Lessons and Carols service, with special readings and anthems, featuring the choir, guest musicians and special soloists. This event is free and open to the public as a special musical celebration of holiday joy.
