NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is hosting a Job Fair and Community Resource Event on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Shore Alliance Church located at 330 W. Marianna Ave in North Fort Myers. This event offers participants an opportunity to meet with several community resources face-to-face, learn about job openings in various fields, and have their resumes reviewed. More than 30 vendors are attending including Blessing Closet and Mike's Bikes.
"It's been over a year since Hurricane Ian, but we still have people living in cars, and at hotels," states Tim Goodman, the Goodwill Employer Relations Specialist. "Our community was hit hard, and many are still trying to put their lives back together. This event can help bring job seekers and employers together while connecting folks with the services they need."

The event is free and open to the public. Tables will be set up specifically for veterans and people experiencing homelessness to provide assistance and information. Giveaways will be available while supplies last.
