FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Noelle Branning has joined the board of directors for Community Cooperative, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating hunger and homelessness in Lee County.
Branning was elected Lee County Tax Collector in 2020 after a career in criminal defense and family law. She was elected District 10 chair for the Florida Tax Collectors Association and serves on the board for United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee Counties, serving as campaign co-chair for the current campaign. She also serves on the board of the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.
"Noelle strives to be a supportive community partner to nonprofits throughout our region, and Community Cooperative is delighted to tap her community passion and expertise as a member of our board of directors," said Stefanie Edwards, CEO.
In addition, Community Cooperative's board elected its officers, including Chairperson Keith Banasiak, COO and senior vice president of Waste Pro USA; Vice Chairperson Charlotte Miller, Florida Power & Light, and Treasurer/Secretary Ryan Van Horn, president and CEO of Custom Packaging & Products, Inc. Board directors include Joe Catti, president and CEO at FineMark National Bank & Trust; Ty Roland, owner of Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan; Robert Galloway, vice president of Galloway Automotive; Julie Klein, owner of CRS Technology Consultants; and Ryan Carter, executive vice president and co-founder of Scotlynn USA Division Inc.
