FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- The Horizon Council, Horizon Foundation and Lee County Economic Development Office have announced a new date – Feb. 10, 2023 – for the 2022 Industry Appreciation Awards.
The awards program celebrates Lee County businesses that drive the local economy, employ our workforce and shape their industries. Originally scheduled for late-October, the awards ceremony was delayed due to impacts from Hurricane Ian.
Community leaders will announce winners in six categories at the Industry Appreciation Awards:
The Industry Appreciation Awards will be held Friday, Feb. 10 at Caloosa Sound Convention Center, 1375 Monroe St. in Fort Myers. Networking begins at 10 a.m., and the lunch and awards program runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Horizon Foundation was established in 1995-96 to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest in Lee County's long-term economic development and vitality. In 2000, the Horizon Foundation received its IRS ruling as a charitable 501(c)(3) organization.
