WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- (West Palm Beach, FL – March 30, 2023) Returning next month with a horticultural flourish is the always popular Spring Plant Festival & Sale, Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30, hosted by Friends of the Mounts Botanical Garden. This is one of four major plant sales offered each year at Mounts that showcase top-quality growers in the region.

"This fun-in-the-sun plant sale will present dozens of high-quality vendors in select Garden areas throughout our 20-acre tropical paradise, offering a great selection of plants, shrubs, trees, and garden accessories," promises Mounts Curator-Director Rochelle Wolberg. "Whether you are an avid gardener or a budding beginner, the Mounts Spring Plant Festival & Sale offers something for everyone, including orchids, ornamentals, succulents, aroids, bonsai, butterfly/native plants, hoyas, fruit and flowering trees, herbs, baskets, fine crafts, and more."

Saturday, April 29

+ 8 am to 9 am Members-Only VIP Preview

+ 9 am to 4 pm open to public (last entry at 3:30 pm)

Sunday, April 30

+ 9 am to 3 pm open to public (last entry at 2:30 pm)

Admission:

+ FREE for Mounts members, children 5 and under, and AHS Reciprocal Admission Program members

+ $15 for nonmember adults

+ $12 for seniors 65+, active military, and college students with ID

+ $7 for ages, 6-17

Tickets are available for purchase at www.mounts.org

Special Notes:

+ The Mounts Botanical Nursery and Vintage Garden Thrift Shop will be open with a variety of colorful plants and unique treasures for the home and garden.

+ Admission is by credit card/debit card only, no cash. Tickets are nonrefundable.

Tuesdays through Sundays, 9 am to 4 pm (last entry at 3 pm)

FREE for MBG members and children under 6; $15 for nonmember adults; $12 for seniors 65+, college students, and military with ID; $7 for children 6-17. Ticket includes full Garden admission.

Internationally acclaimed environmental artist Patrick Dougherty recently returned to Mounts to construct the final large-scale Stickwork installation of his illustrious art career using 30,000 pounds of live willow branches.
