Mount Dora Community Trust is proud to announce the awarding of a $100,000 grant to Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Floridant -- Mount Dora Community Trust is proud to announce the awarding of a $100,000 grant to Haven of Lake & Sumter Counties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
This significant funding will support Haven's ongoing mission to provide critical services, emergency shelter, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by abuse throughout Lake and Sumter counties.
"We are honored to support the life-saving work of Haven," said Rob English, Executive Director, Mount Dora Community Trust. "This grant reflects our commitment to strengthening community-based organizations that make a lasting impact."

The $100,000 grant will enable Haven to expand its reach, enhance safety resources, and continue offering vital support to those in need during their most vulnerable times.
"The grant was awarded due to steadily declining funding cuts over the last several years, with this year being the most impactful," English said. "Because of that, we encourage others to consider donating to offset the funds eliminated."
