Monster Jam preview: ThunderROARus to visit Sunshine Ace Hardware in Largo on Feb. 26

LARGO, Fla. - Floridant -- Monster truck fans revving their engines in anticipation of Monster Jam in Tampa will have a unique opportunity for photo ops with ThunderROARus, one of the sport's signature trucks.

ThunderROARus is set to make a pre-Jam appearance on Feb. 26 at Sunshine Ace Hardware in Largo, where fans attending Monster Truck Night can peek inside the custom truck and take photos with the powerful beast. Built to resemble a robotic T-Rex dinosaur, ThunderROARus has a gray and orange paint job, sharp teeth and claws.

This is the third-consecutive year Sunshine Ace Hardware has offered Monster Jam fans an up-close-and-personal opportunity at its Monster Truck Night before the live motorsports event. The legendary Grave Digger appeared at Sunshine Ace Hardware in 2024, followed by Sparkle Smash in 2025.

Monster Truck Night, which is presented by Sunshine Ace Hardware and The Original Super Glue, is free to attend and runs from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Sunshine Ace Hardware, 1015 W. Bay Drive in Largo. Customers who purchase qualifying The Original Super Glue products at Sunshine Ace Hardware can receive a 20% savings coupon on Monster Jam tickets (exclusions apply). Monster Jam runs from Feb. 28 to March 1 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
