Rash of High-Powered Motorcycle Thefts Continue Across South Florida

MIAMI - Floridant -- A Miami resident is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the recovery of his stolen Ducati motorcycle valued at more than $60,000. Investigators fear the incident might be part of a larger crime ring targeting expensive high-powered motorcycles.

The owner said his 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R was stolen from the 4th floor of the parking garage at the 1800 Club, located at 1800 N. Bayshore Dr. in Miami Midtown, on Dec. 28, 2021, at 9:10 p.m. He said once the thieves gained access to the parking garage, they cut the Kryptonite heavy duty chain and deactivated the Ducati Performance anti-theft alarm and the installed GPS tracking system. Surveillance images show the burglars loaded bike inside a maroon-colored Dodge minivan with stolen license plates.
