Men's Health Network Launches 2025 Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Campaign:

WASHINGTON - Floridant -- Men's Health Network (MHN) is leading the nation in recognizing Prostate Cancer Awareness (PCa) Month this September with the launch of its 2025 campaign, "Bring Empathy Back." The campaign focuses on raising awareness, building empathy, and empowering communities to take lifesaving action for men and their families.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for men and the 2nd leading cause of deaths in men in the U.S. This year, an estimated 299K men will be diagnosed, and 35K will die from the disease. Black men, men with a family history, veterans, and those exposed to certain chemicals, face a higher risk.

"Early detection saves lives," said Jennifer Thompson, VP of MHN. "Through empathy, education, and proactive outreach, we can break down barriers that prevent men from seeking care, ensuring families and communities are better prepared to support them."

Free Prostate Cancer Awareness Toolkit
At the center of MHN's campaign is the PCa Month Toolkit, free at menshealthnetwork.org/media-center. The toolkit includes:

• Social media graphics and content
• Sample press releases, blogs, and newsletter copy
• Event ideas for schools, workplaces, and faith-based groups

MHN encourages individuals, organizations, and partners to download, share, print, and promote in person and online.

Recently, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-LA), co-chair of the Men's Health Caucus, introduced a resolution recognizing Men's Health Week, reinforcing the importance of preventive care and screenings.
