FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- For the third consecutive year, Parrot Heads are invited to celebrate the music and legacy of Jimmy Buffett with a laid-back island celebration and charitable service at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach throughout Labor Day Weekend.
The weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 4, with Jimmy Buffett Day of Service. Each year, Margaritaville properties, resorts, restaurants, destinations, hotels and cruises participate in the company-wide day of charitable service from Sept. 4 through Labor Day Weekend to honor Buffett's legacy and the way he lived his life in the support of others and community. The Fort Myers Beach resort will benefit My Autism Connection (MAC).
MAC, a Fort Myers-based nonprofit organization, provides a supportive community for autistic adults, teachable opportunities to develop skills toward independence, fosters authentic friendships and empowers for acceptance. In early 2025, Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach earned its Autism Double-Checked (ADC) Certification, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive travel, accessibility and neurodiverse-friendly hospitality.
