CHANHASSEN, Minn., Jan. 30, 2025 ~ As the Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Weekend approaches, the Life Time Foundation is gearing up to make a positive impact on the Miami community. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit, created by Life Time Inc. (NYSE: LTH), is dedicated to promoting Healthy People, a Healthy Planet, and a Healthy Way of Life.
From January 31st to February 2nd, the Life Time Foundation will be leading various initiatives to enhance and invest in the Miami community. These initiatives include fun and educational activities at the Miami Famous Expo, collaborating with Clean Miami Beach to clean up Nikki Beach after the Life Time Tropical 5K finish, and supporting over 800 Miami-Dade County school students as they complete their final mile of a 16-week long marathon program.
At the Miami Famous Expo, attendees of all ages can participate in a dice challenge game, sign-making station, and more. The Life Time Foundation is also teaming up with Clean Miami Beach to fund efforts in keeping the local community and natural habitats free of garbage and harmful pollutants. This event is open to athletes, spectators, and the public.

On February 2nd, more than 800 middle school students from Miami-Dade County will complete their final mile at the race-day finish line alongside thousands of adult participants in the Marathon and Half Marathon. Thanks to support from the Life Time Foundation, these students were able to participate in the free youth running program called Life Time Kids Run Miami. Families and friends can join in on the fun at the on-course cheer station for shade, noise-makers, and encouragement.
But it's not just about race weekend for the Life Time Foundation. They are also making a lasting impact by providing a $75,000 grant to The Education Fund for their Food Forests for Schools program. This program helps create outdoor spaces for students to increase academic achievement, improve their health, learn about the environment, and increase the number of trees that provide both canopy and high-nutrient food.
Sarah Emola, Director of the Life Time Foundation, expressed their commitment to promoting a healthy planet, encouraging youth movement, and enhancing youth nutrition. She stated, "Our commitment aligns with Life Time's mission to help people live healthy, happy lives and with those of our partner organizations." The Life Time Foundation is excited to participate in and contribute to the Miami community during and beyond the marathon weekend.
