On February 2nd, more than 800 middle school students from Miami-Dade County will complete their final mile at the race-day finish line alongside thousands of adult participants in the Marathon and Half Marathon. Thanks to support from the Life Time Foundation, these students were able to participate in the free youth running program called Life Time Kids Run Miami. Families and friends can join in on the fun at the on-course cheer station for shade, noise-makers, and encouragement.

But it's not just about race weekend for the Life Time Foundation. They are also making a lasting impact by providing a $75,000 grant to The Education Fund for their Food Forests for Schools program. This program helps create outdoor spaces for students to increase academic achievement, improve their health, learn about the environment, and increase the number of trees that provide both canopy and high-nutrient food.

Sarah Emola, Director of the Life Time Foundation, expressed their commitment to promoting a healthy planet, encouraging youth movement, and enhancing youth nutrition. She stated, "Our commitment aligns with Life Time's mission to help people live healthy, happy lives and with those of our partner organizations." The Life Time Foundation is excited to participate in and contribute to the Miami community during and beyond the marathon weekend.
