FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Krystal Velazquez has been hired as associate director of development for Lee Health Foundation. She will focus on stewardship, donor relations and internal projects as part of Lee Health Foundation's philanthropic priorities.

Velazquez of Fort Lauderdale has a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and English degree from Lubbock Christian University, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from University of Central Florida. Prior to joining Lee Health Foundation, she worked as an admission advisor at Rasmussen University and Florida SouthWestern State College and as an interim coordinator for Veterans and Military Affairs at Florida SouthWestern State College.
