JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- The celebration of Black History is an opportunity for our community to celebrate our trailblazers and our current and future leaders. Curated by Obi Umunna, Esq., Managing Partner of Umunna Legal Group, this event will honor the men and women that fight for the truth, transparency, and leadership. "Black media and black journalists are an integral part to telling black stories correctly, '' said Umunna.

The namesake of the awards, Ken Knight is credited with starting a movement in which African Americans asked for more of their music and announcements to be aired.
