JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- After 6 years as a military officer in the United States Navy, Cory Weikel, has decided to return to real estate and Start the Julington Group. Julington Group has partnered with Florida Homes Realty & Mortgage, an independent brokerage with its headquarters in Jacksonville, Fl.
Before joining the Navy, Cory worked for New Penn Financial and processed over 1,000 loans. New Penn Financial was sold shortly after Cory left and changed its name to NewRez. Having previously helped over a thousand clients obtain home loans, Cory decided to shift his focus to the home buying process. Heping people has always been a calling for him.

When asked what caused him to leave the military and go back to real estate, Cory answered with, "Real estate has always been my passion. Helping people achieve their home buying goals is instant gratification for me as a Realtor. I felt a strong pull to join the military, to serve my country, and I will always be grateful for that period in my life. "
