Teen performers to visit two Naples churches, Jewish Federation
NAPLES, Fla. - Floridant -- The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples is set to host a trio of free performances by goodwill delegation of Israeli teens on Wednesday, July 23, through Thursday, July 24.
The first local concert takes place at 1 p.m. on July 23 at Saint William Catholic Church in its Church Hall, located at 601 Seagate Drive in Naples. The second July 23 concert begins at 7 p.m. at New Hope Ministries' Sanctuary, located at 7675 Davis Blvd. in Naples. The final concert on July 24 will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples, located at 4720 Pine Ridge Road in Naples.
The Israeli Friendship group is made up of five girls, five boys and two leaders from across Israel. To participate in the group, the teenagers went through a highly competitive selection process and were chosen based on maturity, fluency in English and performance skills. With over 60,000 members in Israel, Israel Friendship selects the best teens to represent the State of Israel. The group spends the 10 weeks of summer performing in synagogues and churches, schools and summer camps, and nursing homes across the United States.
