~ Jacksonville, FL- The 7 Creeks Fest is set to kick off this Saturday at 10 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m. at the Betz-Tiger Point Preserve located at 13990 Pumpkin Hill Rd. This annual event offers a variety of activities for all ages and serves as a celebration of the natural beauty found within the 7 Creeks Recreation Area.
As guests arrive at the welcome hub, they will have access to the program schedule, environmental exhibitors, and live music performances. A free shuttle service will also be available to transport visitors between the hub and various trailheads and parks where activities are planned.
One of the main highlights of the festival is the guided hikes throughout the recreation area. Led by knowledgeable guides, these hikes will focus on topics such as native plants, wildflowers, nature photography, archaeology, birds, and history. The 7 Creeks Recreation Area Partners, including Timucuan Parks Foundation, City of Jacksonville, Talbot Islands State Parks, Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, North Florida Land Trust, and Visit Jacksonville have come together to organize these activities that showcase the area's natural wonders.

In addition to guided hikes, guests can also participate in a variety of other activities such as self-guided hikes at Bogey Creek Preserve, kayaking and biking adventures, camping clinics, sound bathing experiences, bingo scavenger hunts, prescribed fire equipment demonstrations, and invertebrate bioblitzes.
Food trucks will be available on-site at the hub for those looking for a quick bite to eat or visitors can bring their own picnic lunch. Live music performances by Rambler Kane and A Fine Kettle of Fish will also be featured on the 7 Creeks stage throughout the day.
