Saturday, April 26, 2023, 10:00 am ~ The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission is set to host its annual housing expo on April 26, 2025, at the Downtown Main Library. The theme for this year's event is "Housing is a Human Right," highlighting the importance of fair and equal access to housing for all individuals.

Doors will open at 9:30 am, with the conference center welcoming attendees from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will feature plenary panel sessions with local housing experts who will discuss challenges, solutions, and available resources for attendees.

In addition to informative discussions, lunch will be provided for all participants. Afternoon workshops will also be held to showcase the incredible work being done in Jacksonville, FL. The Jacksonville Human Rights Commission has partnered with various organizations such as LISC Jacksonville, LIFT Jax, Sulzbacher, and Changing Homelessness to make this event possible.

Other partners include Ability Housing, Habitat for Humanity, Jacksonville Area Legal Aide, The Tenants Union, UNF Jax Rental Housing Project, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, and Wealth Watchers.
