~ In observance of Labor Day, several City government offices and facilities in Jacksonville, Florida will be closed on Monday, September 4th, 2023.

City Hall at St. James, 117 W. Duval St., the Ed Ball Building at 214 N. Hogan St., the Jake M. Godbold City Hall Annex at 407 N. Laura St., the Yates Building at 231 E. Forsyth St., the Duval County Courthouse at 501 W. Adams St., the Supervisor of Elections main office at 105 E. Monroe St., Animal Care and Protective Services at 2020 Forest St., Municipal Code Compliance Division at 214 N. Hogan St., Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department administrative offices at 515 N. Julia St., Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department offices at 214 N. Hogan St., all community and senior centers and gymnasiums managed by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, Tillie K Fowler Regional Park Nature Center at 7000 Roosevelt Blvd., Victim Services Center at 403 W 10th Street, Kids Hope Alliance at 1095 A Philip Randolph Blvd., Social Service Division Emergency Assistance office at 1809 Art Museum Dr., Right-of-Way and Stormwater Management Division administrative offices at 609 St Johns Bluff Rd., Mowing and Landscape Maintenance Division administrative offices also located on 609 St Johns Bluff Rd., Solid Waste Division administrative offices located on 1031 Superior Street, Household Hazardous Waste Facility located on 2675 Commonwealth Ave, The Ritz Theatre & Museum located on 829 N Davis Street, Cecil Gym and Fitness Center located on 13531 Lake Newman Dr will all be closed for Labor Day observance.

Garbage collection services will not be disrupted as they will continue as normal throughout Labor Day observance while the 630-CITY Call Center will be closed for the day but citizens can submit requests for City service online anytime through myjax.custhelp.com . All public libraries in Jacksonville will also be closed for Labor Day observance while Boone Park will remain open from 9am to 4:30pm with staff present during those hours while Cecil Aquatics Center will remain open from 9am to 6pm with a break from 12pm to 1pm . All outdoor pools in Jacksonville will remain open from 11am to 6pm while Huguenot Memorial Park is expected to close due to extreme high tides around 10:30am but visitors can enter until 7pm with admissions gate closing for entry after that time . Camping is available but camping reservations close daily by 8pm with only campers with prepaid reservations able to gain access between 6-9pm . Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park day-users and campground visitors may enter from 8am to 8pm with all visitors except permitted campers having to depart by 8pm . Campers must check in by 9pm with tents and RVs set up by 9:30 pm after which no one may enter to set up a campsite .
