~ The City of Jacksonville Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) is pleased to announce the opening of 20 community pools on Saturday, May 27. The pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Cecil Aquatics open year-round. Starting Saturday, June 3, outdoor pools are open 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays; and 2 p.m.-6 p.m., Sundays with additional pool locations potentially opening throughout the summer season as PRCS continues its search for lifeguards to staff the City's pools..
